Benefits

Improved Self-Awareness

With our free anger signals worksheet, clients can improve their self-awareness because they’ll discover how their anger manifests and have a record of the signs when they’re feeling angry.

Empowering

Connected to the first benefit, if the clients recognize signs of anger in themselves, they may feel more empowered to figure out how to cope with their feelings to avoid any possible outbursts that may hurt their relationship.

Track Progress

For certain people, the more they learn to express their emotions healthily, the lesser anger signals they have, especially those which can negatively affect their relationships, such as yelling. What better way to track how much one has changed or grown than with a template where one can record the difference in anger signals before therapy or coping strategies?

Our template is entirely digital, meaning you can download, access, and share it, and your client can fill out the form on any gadgets you have. In addition, when it’s time to store the filled-out worksheets, you can easily save them on Carepatron, a secure HIPAA-compliant EHR.

Research & Evidence

Multiple articles tackle the importance of knowing one’s signs and signals of anger. Some even consider it the first step to anger management. To borrow the words of an article that teaches people how to manage anger, “Knowing these early warning signs of anger will give you a few moments to reach before you have an emotional outburst or impulsive negative action. Once you have identified [them], you can develop strategies to manage it effectively.”

With regards to utilizing anger signals worksheets, like other tools and worksheets, their effectiveness will depend on the one using them. As seen from the sections above, there are benefits to using this template to know more about one’s signs of anger easily or more efficiently. Therefore, if you or your client may find it helpful to have a document with written anger signals, then by all means, utilize the template.
